Despite being called ‘Links’, the Links Shell Cove, although as immaculately constituted, is completely different from the Links courses of the British Isles. Owing to its proximity to the Ocean, this windy course is affected by the sea-breeze, and often upsets swings and calculations based on air carry. The 18 hole, par 71 course diverges into two loops of nine holes each right from the Clubhouse itself, separated by a small valley. The course covers 63 hectares of wetlands (20 hectares) and convoluted water streams, which makes for a rather interesting set of water hazards.
