A sprawling course with 18 tees and 12 greens, including two double greens, situated right at the origin of the tranquil Barwon River; that is the Ocean Grove Golf Club. Its short distance from the Ocean Grove/Barwon River shores on the Bellarine Peninsula makes gives this course a unique natural environment that enhances the golfing experience. The course presents a dazzling view of the ocean, along with a brook and an arboreal sanctuary. The club is situated in one of the southernmost points of the Australian mangrove tropics, and hosts a wide, breathtaking assortment of indigenous flora and fauna, as well colorful avian life. The course is not a championship layout, but more than makes up for it with strategically placed water-bodies, that provide more than ample challenges to rookies, beginners and middle-tier golfers.
