Standing guard on the eastern frontiers of Australia, the Byron Bay Golf Club associates itself with the iconic Byron Bay lighthouse, which looks over its sprawling course. The course is a 18 hole, par 72 tournament level course that is built to overlook a sprawling 120 acres of natural coastal flora and fauna. The course offers wide, panoramic views of the ocean that makes for a memorable golfing experience. The coastal breeze, like every other coastal golfing course, plays a decisive role in the shots, and golfing here is often a test of skill and accuracy. The challenges vary in complexity, due to atmospheric conditions, making for some exciting sounds of golf. The club is about 5 km to the south of the CBD, located on the Broken Head Road, right across the Byron Resort and Spa.
