Established over a century ago in 1901, the Bendigo Golf Club is now considered to be an excellent golfing facility in the circuit, and counted among the best courses in the Bendigo area. The course is a sprawl of grassy fairways and challenging holes, sporting a layout that is ideal for golfers habituated to most difficulty levels. The men’s course is a par 72, 6040 metres layout, while female golfers can enjoy the par 73, 5353 metres layout. The course offers a good golfing session, hosting a bevy of prestigious tournaments like the Bendigo Open Amateur Tournament (an Ivo Whitton event), the Stuart Appleby Golf Foundation and Sevens Golf. |
