Called “The Bush Course by the Sea”, the Nelson Bay Golf Resorts presents an extremely gratifying, 27 hole championship level on a bush-land setting that even challenges golfers of the highest calibre. The course lies adjacent to the Tomaree National Park, and the natural environment of the course is enhanced by a plethora of wildlife and avian life, including kangaroos, wallabies and other indigenous animals. The course is an all-weather, sand-based course which allows for natural percolation of water. This makes the course retain its playing conditions irrespective of natural climate. The club has three courses, namely, the Gymea Lily, the Brush Box or the Christmas Bush, and all of them are sprawling par 72 courses. The club also has excellent golfing practice facilities, and the clubhouse hosts social and corporate events, including weddings.
