With its first year of inception in March 2005, the Hurstville Golf Club counted about 450 members. An amazing feat by any standards, Hurstville Golf course improved the feat, by making the club administration irrespective of gender differences. The governing body boasts of representation from both male and female members, and membership facilities are open to all. The official club course is situated in Lorraine Street, Peakhurst, in New South Wales. The entire golfing facility is owned by the Hurstville City Council, and the golfing facilities and the course is open to both members and non-members.
