The Echunga Golf Club, located on the freeway just 20 kms from the city, is cozily cradled in one nook of the Hahndorf and Dolman Roads in Echunga. The club includes an extremely well-maintained course of sprawling green, well irrigated fairways, and a distinctly native environment with Gum trees. The course is 5,403 metres long, and is a proper 18 green, par 70 course that provides a challenge to golfers of all abilities and calibre. Even the regular pros would find this course rather intimidating at times. The Club is open for golfing action all throughout the week, with provisions for an honesty box when it’s closed. |
