The Chirnside Park Country Club was incepted in 1974, only 35 minutes away from the Melbourne CBD at the foot lands of the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley. The Clubhouse is cradled within 146 acres of sloping terrains, overlooking the Yarra Valley. The members and visitors to the club share a unique bond of kinship and fraternity between themselves, forming a rather tightly knit community which welcomes new members as well as honour the traditions of the old. The 18 hole course is a lush, verdant stretch of golfing turf, and apart from that the club possesses expansive tennis courts, Bowling Rinks, dedicated Entertainment areas, arrangements for hosting social and corporate functions and events, as well as a bar and Bistro.

The Functions rooms arrange for comfortable seating and service up to a staggering 450 guests, and the smaller rooms could also be utilized as private dining and conference chambers. The fully functional golfing facility consists of practice and putting greens, chipping ranges, bunkers and nets. Golfing competitions accessible to social golfers and visitors are held at the course almost throughout every week. The Lawn Tennis facility is floodlit, and the club also employs a resident Tennis professional for technical assistance and coaching. The Bowling range consists of two Eight rink greens, plus an adjoining bowls pavilion with an attached bar, changing room and storage lockers.

The club arranges for membership, coaching and junior clinics for golf, Tennis and Lawn Bowls. For the non-sports enthusiast, there’s always the bistro and alfresco dining lounge, open throughout the week for lunch and dinner, complete with a diverse selection of cuisines and menus suitable for a la carte dining, seniors as well as juniors. Members can revel in the serene, picturesque settings of the course of the majestic view into the Yarra valley while dining here, as the Bistro has large clear windos which helps build a great dining-room ambience.

Chirnside Park Country Club’s main Clubhouse is the centre of many of the Clubs major events, and is equipped to cater for all occasions, big and small.

From a small group for a Bistro meal, to large Receptions of over 450 people, the Clubhouse and Function Room is able to be adapted to suit any needs.

Some of the upcoming events in 2010 will be the Buddy Holly Tribute Show, Hot Pink Tribute Show and Babba Tribute Show.
We also hold regular golf, bowls and tennis events, Cocktail Functions, Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions, Private Functions, Memorial Services and Bingo.
