The Chelsea public golf course is the best golfing course for beginners and golfing novices who would want to get their swings in, and some valuable practice hours. The greens are flat and lush and well irrigated, making for a fast game. The course itself has strategic bunkers and dams as well-placed challenges. The club is home to the Australasian Golf Club. The Men’s golfing competition timings are 8 to 10 am, on Tuesdays, while ladies can enjoy some golfing action from 9 to 9.30 am on Wednesdays. Mixed competitions are slotted for Sundays, from 7.30 am to 11 am. The club allows visitors and social groups, and also does not insist on prior reservations. The resident club manager would be happy to respond to further queries. |
