|No. of holes||18|
Located on the lush stretches of the McClelland Drive, in Frankston, the current site was modeled into the Centenary Park course way back in the middle of the 70’s decade. Since then, the club and the course have developed into one of the most preferred golfing destinations within Melbourne city. This public access, fully modernized golfing facility includes an 18 hole championship level course, good practice fairways and putting greens, an extensively stocked Pro Shop, luxurious club rooms, maintenance and management centre, ample car parking and a caretaker’s residence.
This course has the distinction of being the longest public course in Melbourne, a par 72 measuring at 6,197 metres, and has some attractive features that make golfing challenging, as well as rewarding here. The course has strategic water hazards, making it a difficult course to master. Resident professionals Warren Young and Steve Montogomerie attend to the visitors and golfers, offering golfing tuitions and fine-tuning your skills. The Pro shop lets out, as well as sells golfing equipment, repairs, and golfing fittings. The club facilities also includes a licensed bar and a BBQ area.
